Lynn won the National Intercollegiate Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying and All Around Championship Titles and placed her team 3rd Nationally single handedly. To date, Lynn is the only competitor in college rodeo to win a triple crown of college national titles in one year.

All three individuals were recruited through the Better Basics Clinics.  The CWC women team finished top ten standings in the Nation 4 times; 3rd in 2004, 10th in 2009, 7th in 2011 and 2nd in 2012. The fall of 2012, Lynn changed venues and begin coaching at Cochise College near Douglas, Arizona, where she continues to build a strong women's team nationally. In her 2nd year of rebuilding the program, they qualified a team for the 2014 CNFR where they finished 4th in the Nation and in 2015 Cochise College Women's Team were the Regional Team Champions.  The 2016 women's team dominated the Grand Canyon Region, winning all 10 Regional Rodeos. and finished 8th Nationally.

Through constant involvement with coaching elite college competitors, Lynn continues to develop her teaching techniques as well as reinforce the importance of mastering basics skills to be competitive goat tying today.  Lynn instructs 20-30 goat tying clinics throughout the year nationwide, sharing her knowledge, experiences and skills with her students.  From her own success and that of her Better Basics students, THIS TECHNIQUE HAS BEEN PROVEN A WINNER!
